the fading sky

008b

Oh man you guys, we made it to the weekend! I have to say I was skeptical that I would. Today- success! Knocked out a philosophy test AND was prescribed codeine for my cough, major score. The drowsiness hasn't hit me quite yet. Oh wait, actually maybe it is. Anyway I couldn't fall asleep last night because I wouldn't quit coughing! Don't you hate that? When you are willing yourself to do something and it has absolutely no effect- the worst.

But, that's all irrelevant now because we have two beautiful days to look forward to! Hopefully I'll get to take it easy this weekend work-wise. And tomorrow I'm going on a photo adventure with some friendsies from Wake. Maybe some potential slight trespassing? There's this dock that I've seen and am not sure how to get to. We'll see, we'll try to stay within the law.

Tonight was perfect, hung out with the boy, dressed up, my friend's boyfriend (Chris- find him here), a super photographer, although he'll probably tell you otherwise (don't let him fool you) took some quick photos for me (so much faster than tripod-ing! amazing) and then went to a yummy dinner at Macaroni Grill with my girls. Now I'm sitting here blogging and eating Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
Does it get any better?

Oh! your pictures are so very nice :) Gotta admit though, it's hard to pick photos to post up when there's so many nice ones. This weekend I work work work + group presentation meeting + hw. So sad :( Today was basically my weekend, which I am okay with, as it was lovely.

I think all of my positive thoughts toward the suburbs come because of the interactions and experiences I've had there, for sure. That's where half of my childhood was.

Love the shoes + socks combo. And the simplicity of the outfit. Cheers.

Lovely outfit!
The skirt is amazing :) Just above the knees, I think that's one of my favorite lengths of mine for a skirt :D
And the shoes are wonderful as well :) They also would be so perfect for summer ^-^ perhaps I search for those :P

I like how you work the socks. Socks can never seem right on my feet, dunno why, probably because of my legs -__- Nice photos! :)

You are absolutely gorgeous! It's so fun to have people take photos when you're so used to the tripod, though I always get super self-conscious of my facial expressions.

Anyhow, I'm so glad that the weekend is here. This week was so sluggish. Is that a word?

Just found you via the ModCloth flicker exchange.
I love the cream dress and blue top together..very clean/classic combo that is always lovely and soft.
I also have to add that I love the interview you did a few posts down with Rebecca (The Clothes Horse). The insightful questions really got some great answers from her and the write up you did on her as well was wonderful...I wholeheartdly agree with every thing you put. You too seem quite insighful and thoughtful.

Nice blog. I got a lot of good data. I’ve been following this technology for awhile. It’s interesting how it keeps changing, yet some of the core components remain the same. Have you seen much change since Google made their latest acquisition in the domain?
