pony up

009b

Snagged these with probably the last half an hour or so of light left. I love the longer days of spring and summer, you just have so much more time to do things. Things are winding down here, about three weeks left of school and that includes finals and what not. I know I've talked about this before, but it is still one of the strangest paradoxes to me- how time can speed by and crawl at the same time. Another year has hurled past us, and eeek what?? in the fall, I will be a senior. Ugh real world, can I please put you off a little longer?

Got a phone call today from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society about an internship that I applied for, and have an interview scheduled for when I get home. Hopefully I will get that one or another non-profit organization, Strength whose goal is to eradicate child hunger and malnutrition in the U.S. by 2015, lofty goal! So anyway wish me luck that I'm employed this summer! haha wouldn't that be great?

So, my camera strap accidentally got in the way on this one, but we can just pretend it's an artsy vignette right? haha well, not too much else to report. But I did want to say thank you, thank you, thank you! I had the most comments that I've ever had on my last post. Thank you for all the support you guys- it really does mean so much to me. I really love blogging and with your help, am thrilled to keep doing it!

This was a pretty perfect outfit for today, we were in the low seventies. It started cooling off toward the end of the day, so I was definitely glad to have longer sleeves. Spring can be sort of tricky to dress for with all the temperature fluctuations, but this one was a winner. What have you been wearing for spring?

And for now, I'll leave you with some action shots! These are my 'yay I got antibiotics' dance photos. The other day I was talking to my good friend and I told him to cross his fingers for me about the antibiotics and he said, ok I'll do an amoxicillin dance for you. My reply was, Oh wow, now I know we're friends. haha gosh, isn't that what friends are for? Wishing you speedy, drug-aided recoveries?

Adios for now!

I love the plaid over the sundress! What a great way to make it transitional. I might have to give that a try next time it's warm(ish) out. We've been stuck in low 50s lately where I am

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you land a killer summer position because it sounds like a great experience! In other news, I'm jealous at how nice the weather seems to be where you are--it is still upper forties and raining here. ): I guess that's the price I pay for the amount of greenery here.

Lastly, you look great. I like how you've paired a girly piece with shoes and a shirt that play it down in a fun way.

This outfit is so cute for spring! I always love styling white dresses because they're so versatile, and the belt really pulls it all together.
