pretty in peach

IMG_3815

I really hope you guys aren't getting bored of my backyard. I've been trying to mix it up by exploring different parts of it, it's actually been kind of fun for me since I haven't played outside in our backyard since I was little. This is our slightly dilapidated, but sincerely loved & well used swing set. I spent so many hours out here swinging or playing made up games with my friends. Gosh, I wish I could get back the imagination I had as a little girl. What happens to it? Squashed by societal norms? or do we just outgrow it? I wish we wouldn't.

Well, today was nothing out of the ordinary. I think I'm going to try to catch some Shark Week tonight! and possibly a movie? Remember Me? We're having a debate over what to watch right now. Dude, I am really freaking out about how fast this summer has blown by. I literally feel like it started yesterday. Where did the time go? There are so many other things that I planned on doing. But, hey I guess you can't do everything.

I bought this dress from Kimberly of ShopMinette via Etsy and I absolutely love it. The embroidery is so sweet and I think the peach color is nearly universally flattering. It was originally a night gown, but it's too cute for just wearing to bed. I don't understand the concept of wearing beautiful pieces of clothing to bed, I really don't. Maybe I'm just not glamorous enough, I don't know about you, but I definitely wear a t-shirt and boys boxers to bed. Anyway, the dress is fairly sheer since it's designed to be for night wear, so I hadn't worn it up until 2 days ago (this is the outfit I wore that day) because I was waiting to buy a slip.

I love your dress. I agree about sometimes wanting to wear sleepwear. I saw a nice dress in a thrift store today that I was pretty sure was a night gown.

The swinging pictures are fun. Your back yard looks huge! but maybe it's just the camera angle.

Your backyard is amazing, Definitely don't think I could get sick of it.

Not only do I love your outfit but I think its really complimented by the scenery. I love the colour scheme and the belt over the cardigan.

I am not sick of your backyard! I am so jealous of it. There seem to be so many nice locations over there :)

This is my most favorite outfit from you. The peach color and the style is so pretty. I wish I could steal it from you ;P Hmm, I would probably wake up feeling a lot more glamorous if I wore pretty things to bed.

I LOVE your backyard and the photos you take in it. I wish my backyard was as beautiful.
And i love that dress as well. That color looks great on you!
I always wear weird non-pretty things to bed. I mean it's only sleeping and your supposed to be comferable.
Oh and that last picture is so cute =]
